Terms of Use
Last updated: June 21, 2026
These terms govern the use of Revival, an online service that turns your photographs into short, AI-animated videos. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them in full.
1. Purpose
Revival lets you upload a photograph and generate a short video that brings it to life. It is available through Free and Pro plans offering varying credits, duration and quality.
The output is generated automatically: it is an artistic interpretation, not a faithful reconstruction of the person or animal depicted.
2. Account and subscription
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider Stripe. Subscriptions have no commitment and can be cancelled at any time, remaining active until the end of the current period.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential.
3. Content you upload
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the photographs you upload, and that you have the consent of the people depicted or of their rightful heirs.
This is detailed in our Image Rights Charter, which you accept upon subscribing.
4. Prohibited uses
The following are prohibited: misleading or defamatory content, impersonation, animating a third party's image without authorisation, any degrading, hateful or sexual content, and using the image of minors without parental consent.
The following are strictly and absolutely prohibited: any sexual content featuring the image of a real person without their explicit consent (including any sexual montage, deepfake or synthetic alteration), and any content depicting a minor in a sexual manner or constituting child sexual abuse material.
Revival operates automated moderation and reserves the right to refuse, suspend or delete any generation at its sole discretion. Manifestly illegal content is reported to the competent authorities and may result in the transmission of identifying information.
Any breach may lead to immediate suspension of the account, without refund and without prejudice to legal action.
5. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the photographs you upload. You grant us a limited licence, for the duration of the service, to process those images and generate the videos.
Generated videos are licensed to you for personal use; commercial use is reserved to the Pro plan.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. As AI is imperfect, we do not guarantee an exact likeness or the absence of visual artefacts.
Revival provides a technical generation tool: you are solely responsible for the photographs you upload, the prompts you enter, and the videos you generate or distribute. We cannot be held liable for any use that does not comply with these terms.
You shall indemnify and hold harmless Revival (the company CROSSCOM, its officers and its providers) against any third-party claim, action, judgment, damage or cost (including reasonable defence costs) arising from content you have uploaded, generated or distributed, or from your breach of these terms or of the Image Rights Charter.
7. Reporting illegal content
Anyone may report content they consider illegal (in particular a video depicting them without their consent, or sexual, defamatory or hateful content) by writing to contact@revival.art, specifying the content concerned and the reason.
We handle such reports as quickly as possible and promptly remove manifestly illegal content. Any depicted person, or their rightful heirs, may also request the removal of content concerning them.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us.
9. Right of withdrawal and immediate performance
Under French consumer law, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
However, videos are digital content supplied immediately: by confirming your payment you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once generation of your video has begun. No refund is due for a video already generated, except for a technical fault attributable to Revival (in which case the corresponding credit is restored to you).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action before the competent courts.
