Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This policy explains what data we process, why, and how you stay in control. We pay particular attention to photographs, which may depict people, including the deceased.
1. Data controller
The data controller is CROSSCOM (SASU), a digital communications agency and publisher of the Revival website (details in the Legal Notice). For any question: contact@revival.art.
2. Data we process
Account data (email address), billing data (handled by Stripe — we store no card number), photographs you upload and generated videos, and technical usage data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service and generating videos (contract performance); handling billing and meeting accounting obligations (legal obligation); processing photographs of people (your consent, see the Image Rights Charter); improving the service (legitimate interest).
4. Photographs and depicted persons
Photographs may constitute sensitive data. They are used only to generate your video, are never resold, and are not used to train models without your explicit consent.
To generate your video, your photographs are sent to our AI generation providers (see section 5). They are then deleted from our servers within 15 days.
5. Processors
We rely on selected providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, hosted in the European Union), Resend (email delivery), and our host.
To create your video, your photographs are sent to generation and moderation providers located in the United States: fal.ai and xAI (video generation) and Google Cloud Vision (automated content moderation). These transfers outside the European Union are governed by standard contractual clauses. Each provider accesses only strictly necessary data and does not retain it beyond processing.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. The source photographs you upload and the generated videos are kept for up to 15 days, then deleted from our servers. Billing data is kept for the legally required periods.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection. You can exercise them at contact@revival.art.
You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
8. Cookies
We limit cookies to what is strictly necessary for the site to work and for anonymous audience measurement.
