Image Rights Charter & Consent

Animating someone's portrait touches their image rights, which are protected. By uploading a photograph, you affirm that you have the right to do so and that you respect the dignity of the person depicted.

You certify that: you hold the rights to the uploaded photograph; you have the consent of the living person depicted, or you are a relative or legitimate rightful heir for a deceased person; you do not animate a third party's image without their knowledge; and you create no misleading, defamatory or degrading content.

Revival is often used to honour the memory of a lost loved one. We ask that this use remain respectful and reserved for relatives or rightful heirs, in a spirit of remembrance, not deception.

A minor's image may only be used with the consent of the person holding parental authority.

Prohibited: impersonation, false statements attributed to a person, political or advertising content using someone's image without consent, and any humiliating, hateful or sexual content.

Any person (or their heirs) may request the removal of content depicting them by writing to contact@revival.art. We handle such requests as a priority.
